Meet Our Staff

 

I'm Dr.Paul Turnquist and this is my wife Isabella Turnquist. I am currently working as an AME and ER physician.  I am building an RV-14A with my wonderful wife Isabella, and our office dog George.  I have two sons, now grown and building their careers.  I have worked as an engineer, an Air Force pilot and an airline pilot.  I live in Lincoln, Maine. 

I'm Dr. Peter Degnan. I am a Board certified family physician who practiced in the Seacoast NH community for over 25 years. I am also a flight surgeon for the NH Air Guard with prior deployments to Kunsan AB Korea and Aviano AB Italy. I recently retired as medical director for the University of New Hampshire.

I'm Dr. Heidi MacVittie. I am a retired OB/GYN who worked in the seacoast area for the past 20 years. I am a Flight Surgeon with the Air National Guard at Pease and a private pilot. I have a Masters in Finance from UNH and provide online financial education through my company Moola Masters. I have two (awesome) grown sons and live in Dover.

Dr. Thomas W. Gross, Col. (USAF, ret.)

After a career as a US Coast Guard boat engineer and helicopter aircrewman was ended secondary to a spinal fracture in a helicopter crash in Cape Cod Bay, Thomas W. Gross, received his B.A. in Zoology from the University of California at Berkeley and his medical degree from Rutgers Medical School. Having completed a residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital, he practiced in Alaska and Northern California. He is now retired from parallel careers as an emergency physician and as a military officer with 28 years of service, which included 58 combat missions as a helicopter crewman and physician with the 129th Pararescue Squadron in Operation Iraqi Freedom. Having been employed as a firefighter/medic for the Novato (CA) Fire Protection District and an emergency physician at the FBI Academy in Quantico, VA., he has also more recently worked as a research Boat Captain for the UNH Shoals Marine Science Laboratory and a firefighter for the NewCastle (NH) Volunteer Fire Department. A Senior Aviation Medical Examiner since 1995, he has practiced in Dover since 2014. Tom is also an A&P with IA certification. He flies a 1965 Cessna 180H and a 1959 Cessna 182B on Edo Amphibious floats.

 

 

I am Tammy Grant Gero and I am the office manager.   I have been working in Aerospace Medicine since 2001 where I started with Dr. Peter Richards. I help pilots through the process of dealing with the FAA when medical issues arise. I manage getting the paperwork to the FAA as well as any questions regarding medical issues. I assist the doctors with the processing of medical exams. If you have any questions about medical issues, please call or email me.

Hello, I am Isabella Turnquist. I am Dr. Turnquist‘s wife and although I am not a pilot like he is, I became involved in the flying world in 1990 after my MA degree in English/American literature & Political Science. I worked at the USAir Reservations Office and City Ticket Office in Frankfurt/Germany and then as a Supervisor for USAirways/the new American at the Frankfurt Airport/Germany. Here I met my wonderful husband! I love to go fly with him and help him building his RV 14A. (I don‘t do riveting!!) In the Seacoast Flight Medicine office I am a support person and the dog walker for George, the offical office dog. See you there!
